15-17 September 2017 – The London Screenwriters’ Festival, UK
An annual gathering of emerging and established screenwriters. With over 1,000 attendees, 100 sessions, 150 industry expert speakers and the biggest names in film and TV (from both the UK and Hollywood), the LSF has become the premiere screenwriting event to attend.

13-15 September 2017 – Royal Television Society (RTS) Cambridge Convention, UK
Speakers include James Murdoch, Chief Executive Officer of 21st Century Fox, Andy Harries, Chief Executive of Left Bank Pictures; The Grand Tour executive producer, Andy Wilman; Michelle Guthrie, Managing Director of Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Sharon White, Chief Executive of Ofcom – with more names to be announced.

The NYTVF is a pioneer of the independent television movement, connecting its community of artists with leading networks, studios, agencies, production companies, and brands.
26 October-2 November 2017 – Austin Film Festival and Writers’ Festival, USA
Known as the “Writers Festival” since its inception 24 years ago, Austin Film Festival recognizes the importance of narrative at the core of filmmaking. By celebrating the work of storytellers; those committed to crafting intricate worlds, fully-formed characters, and diverse perspectives, AFF bolsters its reputation as a champion for the creator.
27-29 November 2017 – C21 International Drama Summit, London, UK
Undoubtedly the most significant annual gathering of the global drama community. Three-day event with an unrivalled agenda, screenings, coproduction marketplace and awards.

March 2018 – National Screenwriters’ Conference, Victoria, Australia
A must-attend, biennial, 3-day event for screenwriters, established and aspiring. Presented by the Australian Writers’ Guild, with our Principal Partner Film Victoria and Industry Partner Foxtel, this event brings together screenwriting talent from across Australia and around the world.
April 2018 – Nashville Film Festival and Creators’ Conference, USA
The Creator’s Conference, presented by NashFilm, includes robust tracks for filmmakers, screenwriters, musicians, and all kinds of creators. Come hear about the latest industry trends, paths that have led to success, ways to hone your craft, and meet others in the community.
April 2018 – Séries Mania, Paris, France
After seven riveting seasons, Séries Mania has established itself as the annual event dedicated to the TV series format for both the general public and the wider industry. Having welcomed almost 40,000 spectators and 1,300 industry execs in 2016, the festival is widening out its ambitions this year with a raft of new features, extending its reach outside of the French capital.
April 2018 – Toronto Screenwriting Conference, Canada
The Toronto Screenwriting Conference (TSC) is a two-day weekend event that brings together screen-based industry professionals and offers them advanced skills development and networking unparalleled by any other screenwriting event on the continent.
May 2018 – Three Rivers Screenwriters’ Conference, Pittsburgh, USA
The 3 Rivers Screenwriters Conference is a 3-day educational event that seeks to further the art and craft of storytelling by supporting, connecting, educating and inspiring writers, actors, directors and other artists across all genres and mediums.
June 2018 – ScriptFest including Great American Pitchfest, Los Angeles, USA
Master your craft, perfect your pitch, and meet Oscar-winners, showrunners, agents, and managers at this year’s ScriptFest. With over 120 execs waiting to hear your pitch, this is a must-attend L.A event in the screenwriting calendar.

September 2018 – RTS London Conference 2018
Events in television don’t get much bigger than the RTS Cambridge Convention and the RTS London Conference. Held on alternate years, each event brings together the senior leaders and CEOs from the global TV industry for discussion and debate, setting the agenda for the future media year.
